1. Purpose of the Sharing Features
AnyDex allows users to create, organize, share, discover, collaborate on, and interact with user-created content.
Sharing Features may include:
- Publicly shared lists
- Friend-only shared lists
- Shared items
- Collaborative lists
- Public profiles
- User discovery
- Community exploration features
- List ownership transfers
- Template copying features
- Reporting tools
- Other sharing or social functionality made available by AnyDex
The specific Sharing Features available may change over time.
2. Definitions
For purposes of these Terms:
Content means any information, text, images, notes, tags, labels, custom fields, metadata, or other material created, uploaded, stored, or shared through the Service.
Shared Content means any Content that you choose to make visible to one or more other users through the Sharing Features.
Public Content means Shared Content that is made available to the broader AnyDex community or to individuals outside your selected friends or collaborators.
Owner means the user who owns a list or other content within the Service.
Collaborator means a user granted permission to view or edit content owned by another user.
3. User Control Over Sharing
AnyDex provides tools that allow users to control how their content is shared.
Depending on available functionality, you may choose to:
- Keep content private
- Share content with selected users
- Share content with friends
- Share content publicly
- Add collaborators
- Remove collaborators
- Transfer ownership of eligible content
You are responsible for selecting and managing your sharing settings.
AnyDex cannot guarantee that content previously viewed, copied, downloaded, cached, archived, or captured by others can be fully removed after sharing access is revoked.
4. Ownership of Content
You retain ownership of the content you create and upload to AnyDex.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your content to AnyDex or to other users.
Except as expressly permitted by the Service, other users do not acquire ownership rights in your content simply because it has been shared with them.
5. License Granted to AnyDex
When you share content using the Sharing Features, you grant AnyDex a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable (only as necessary to operate the Service) license to:
- Host the content
- Store the content
- Display the content
- Distribute the content
- Reproduce the content as necessary to provide the Service
- Process the content
- Cache the content
- Back up the content
- Moderate the content
- Index the content for discovery features
- Operate and improve the Sharing Features
This license exists solely for the purpose of providing and operating the Service.
You retain ownership of your content at all times.
The license ends when the content is removed from the Service, except to the extent retention is necessary for backup, legal compliance, security, dispute resolution, or technical operations.
6. Public Sharing Risks
When you choose to make content public:
- The content may become visible to users you do not know.
- The content may be visible outside your geographic region.
- The content may be indexed by search engines where applicable.
- The content may be copied, shared, archived, downloaded, photographed, screen-captured, or redistributed by third parties.
- The content may remain available through third-party systems even after you remove it from AnyDex.
You acknowledge and accept these risks when choosing to share content publicly.
AnyDex is not responsible for third-party use of publicly shared content.
7. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for content that you create, upload, share, publish, or otherwise make available through the Sharing Features.
Shared content may include personal data about you or others. Processing of that data is described in the AnyDex Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any personal data included in your content.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own the content or have all rights necessary to share it.
- The content is accurate, appropriate, and safe for the AnyDex community.
- Sharing the content does not violate any law.
- Sharing the content does not violate any contract or obligation.
- Sharing the content does not infringe intellectual property rights.
- Sharing the content does not violate privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person.
- You have permission to share any personal information contained within the content.
- The content complies with these Terms and applicable laws.
8. Collaborative Lists
AnyDex may permit users to invite collaborators to lists or other content.
Collaborators may be granted different levels of access, including:
- View-only access
- Editing access
- Other permissions made available by the Service
Owners remain responsible for managing collaborator permissions.
Unless ownership has been formally transferred through Service functionality, the Owner remains the owner of the content.
Collaborators do not automatically acquire ownership rights in shared content.
AnyDex is not responsible for disputes between owners and collaborators.
9. Ownership Transfers
AnyDex may allow ownership of certain content to be transferred between users.
Ownership transfers become effective only when:
- The transfer is initiated through the Service, and
- The receiving user accepts the transfer.
Once a transfer is completed:
- The receiving user becomes the new owner.
- The former owner may lose access or control as determined by the Service.
- Responsibility for future management of the content transfers to the new owner.
Ownership transfers may be restricted by Service limitations, account requirements, subscription requirements, or storage limitations.
10. Template and Copying Features
AnyDex may permit users to create copies of lists or use lists as templates.
Unless otherwise indicated:
- Template copying transfers structure, organization, and formatting only.
- Ownership of the original content remains with the original creator.
- Template copying does not transfer ownership rights.
- AnyDex may limit what information is included in copied templates.
Users remain responsible for ensuring that copied content complies with applicable laws and these Terms.
11. Public Profiles and Discovery Features
AnyDex may provide public profile, search, recommendation, discovery, community exploration, or similar functionality.
Information that may become visible through these features can include:
- Username
- Profile image
- Publicly shared content
- Public activity related to shared content
By enabling public visibility features, you consent to such information being displayed through those features.
You are responsible for choosing an appropriate username and profile information.
12. Prohibited Content
You may not share content that:
- Is unlawful.
- Is fraudulent or deceptive.
- Is defamatory.
- Is threatening, harassing, abusive, or intimidating.
- Promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence.
- Encourages self-harm, dangerous activity, or illegal conduct.
- Is sexually explicit or pornographic.
- Exploits or endangers minors.
- Infringes copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights.
- Violates privacy rights.
- Contains malware, viruses, malicious code, or harmful content.
- Attempts to interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
- Violates these Terms or the AnyDex Terms of Service.
AnyDex may remove prohibited content at its sole discretion.
13. Reporting Content
Users may report content, profiles, or behavior believed to violate these Terms.
Submission of a report does not guarantee removal of content or action against a user.
AnyDex may investigate reports and take action at its discretion.
Actions may include:
- Removing content
- Restricting visibility
- Suspending sharing privileges
- Suspending accounts
- Permanently terminating accounts
14. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe content on AnyDex infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may contact: support@fglab.co.
Your notice should include sufficient information for us to identify:
- The allegedly infringing content
- The claimed rights
- Your contact information
- Any supporting information reasonably necessary to investigate the claim
AnyDex may remove or restrict access to content while investigating claims.
15. Third-Party Content Disclaimer
Content shared through the Service is created and provided by users.
AnyDex does not endorse, verify, guarantee, or assume responsibility for user-generated content.
AnyDex does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content.
Views, opinions, recommendations, descriptions, ratings, and other content shared by users belong solely to those users.
Users access shared content at their own risk.
16. Moderation Rights
AnyDex reserves the right, but not the obligation, to:
- Review content
- Monitor sharing activity
- Remove content
- Restrict content visibility
- Disable sharing functionality
- Suspend or terminate accounts
These actions may be taken when necessary to:
- Enforce these Terms
- Protect users
- Comply with law
- Maintain platform integrity
- Protect the Service
These actions may be taken with or without notice.
17. Limitation of Responsibility
AnyDex is not responsible for:
- User-generated content
- Actions of other users
- Content copied or redistributed by third parties
- Losses arising from sharing decisions
- Disputes between users
- Collaborator actions
- Ownership transfer disputes
You are responsible for determining what content you choose to share and with whom you share it.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time.
Material changes may be communicated through the Service, by email, or through other reasonable means.
Continued use of the Sharing Features after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
