This Privacy Policy applies to the AnyDex applications, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by FG Lab ("AnyDex," "we," "our," or "us").

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the rights and choices available to you regarding your personal information.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information will be processed as described in this Privacy Policy.

We collect information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Service, and certain information provided by third-party service providers.

1.1 Information You Provide

You may provide the following information when using the Service:

  • Profile photo (uploaded by you or, if you use third-party sign-in such as Google Sign-In, retrieved from that authentication provider)
  • Account preferences and settings
  • Lists, items, notes, tags, labels, custom fields, and other content you create
  • Images and files you upload
  • Feedback, support requests, and communications
  • Content submitted to AI-powered features
  • Voice input submitted through speech-to-text functionality

Providing certain information may be necessary to access specific features of the Service.

1.2 User Content

The Service allows you to create, organize, store, and optionally share content.

User content may include:

  • List names
  • Item names
  • Notes
  • Tags
  • Labels
  • Images
  • Custom fields
  • Metadata associated with your content
  • Other information you choose to create or upload

We process this content solely to provide Service functionality, including storage, synchronization, backup, search, organization, collaboration, sharing, moderation, and related features.

1.3 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Service, certain information may be collected automatically, including:

  • Device type
  • Device identifiers
  • Operating system version
  • Application version
  • Browser information
  • Screen size and device characteristics
  • IP address
  • Approximate geographic region derived from IP address
  • Service usage information
  • Feature usage information
  • Session activity

This information helps us maintain, secure, improve, and operate the Service.

The Service does not collect precise real-time location information (such as GPS coordinates) from your device.

2. AI-Powered Features

The Service includes optional AI-powered features designed to assist users in generating, organizing, or enhancing content.

Current AI functionality may include features such as:

  • Quick Draft generation
  • Content assistance
  • Content organization suggestions

When you choose to use an AI-powered feature:

  • Only the information necessary to process that request is transmitted.
  • This may include content you actively select, input, or submit.
  • Information submitted for that request may be sent to Google’s AI infrastructure, including Gemini models.
  • Processing occurs only in response to your explicit action.
  • AI features are optional.

We do not use your personal information to independently train our own AI models.

Data processed by Google’s AI services is handled in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy and applicable Google data processing terms.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or inappropriate. Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying upon, storing, sharing, or distributing it.

3. Voice Input and Speech-to-Text Features

The Service may provide optional voice input functionality.

When you use voice input:

  • Microphone access is requested only with your permission.
  • Audio is processed solely to convert speech into text.
  • Audio is not continuously recorded.
  • Audio is not stored by us beyond what is necessary to complete the transcription request.
  • Audio is processed only while the voice input feature is actively being used.
  • Audio may be processed locally on your device or by third-party speech recognition providers, depending on device capabilities and configuration.

We do not use microphone access for any purpose other than providing voice input functionality.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

The Service may offer optional paid subscriptions and premium features, including AnyDex Plus.

Payments are processed by the applicable app marketplace or payment provider.

We do not receive or store your complete payment card information.

We may receive limited transaction-related information, including:

  • Subscription status
  • Purchase confirmations
  • Renewal status
  • Cancellation status
  • Entitlement information

We use this information solely to manage access to subscription features and related functionality.

5. Analytics and Diagnostics

We use analytics, diagnostics, and performance monitoring tools to understand how the Service is used and to improve reliability and functionality.

These tools may include:

  • Google Firebase Analytics
  • Firebase Crashlytics
  • Similar service providers that assist with diagnostics, performance monitoring, or product improvement

Firebase Analytics and similar tools may use device identifiers and similar technologies to collect and analyze usage data.

Information collected through these services may include:

  • Device identifiers
  • Application usage information
  • Feature usage information
  • Crash reports
  • Performance data
  • Approximate location derived from IP address

We use this information to:

  • Monitor performance and reliability
  • Diagnose and correct technical issues

Data collected through Firebase services is processed and stored by Google in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase Terms of Service.

Feedback submissions may include:

  • Technical metadata necessary to investigate issues

Screenshots are never captured automatically and are included only if you choose to provide them.

The handling of shared content is governed by the AnyDex User Content Sharing Terms in addition to this Privacy Policy.

When you delete your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize associated information within a reasonable period.

Residual copies may temporarily remain in backups or operational systems before being deleted in accordance with normal retention cycles.
